James Dufour graduated from the University of Maine in 1985 and earned his law degree from the University of New Hampshire's Franklin Pierce Law Center in 1988. He is a member of the Maine and New Hampshire State and Federal Bars. He was formerly New England Corporate Counsel for the Irving Oil Corporation and joined Macdonald, Chase & Dufour in 2002. He resides in Old Town, Maine with his wife Alison and his three children Tyler, Joshua and Alexa. James has served his community as a member of the Old Town City Council.
